Job Description for Sales Execuitive

  • Seek and maintain customers via day-to-day call activities, while documenting calls made daily via a call memo
  • Promote the image and values of the company under the existing environment of stiff competition and a growing emphasis on quality customer service.
  • Effectively manage balance sheet along target lines

Make sales, meet or exceed target promoting employers’ ICT goods and services to existing and prospective clients.
Effective and constant monitoring of customers’ activities with a view to cross-sell and up-sell such clients.
Promptly process new sale requests and review existing sales accurately.
Generation of leads for possible business transactions.
Promote sales and secure orders from existing and potential customers through a relationship-based approach Create solutions and ideas which can be effectively presented to customers to make sales.  
Keep abreast of local and national economic, financial and political events which may impact on sales and provide periodic reports on same.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity reports, such as daily call reports, weekly sales reports, and monthly territory analyses.
Make recommendations on sales strategy or policy by evaluating sales results and competitive developments.Any other duties/functions given by the MD  
Identification and Marketing of prospects within the target market
Gather intelligence information on product performance, customer attitudes, and new business/product opportunities for the attention of the MDIdentify customers’ needs, proactively seek to provide products/services to meet such needs, and advice on the appropriate selection of company products effectively manage customer relationships (internal and external types)Efficiently and effectively liaise with internal departments/units with the company  

Report directly to the head marketing or his relief or MDWork within the other teams in harmony to achieve sale targetsDelegate appropriately
Job Requirements
EducationMinimum of 2nd class lower in first degree
Work ExperienceMinimum of 4 years IT Sales experience in marketing/sales.
SkillsAbility to identify key players in marketGood interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressureShould be able to work with less supervisionShow reasonable ‘Team-work’ skillsGood  Negotiating/Selling skills
KnowledgeMust have a very good knowledge of technology , technology solutions and their application .

Any Additional InformationCandidate may be required to work some days without necessarily resuming at the office due to current COVID limitations with only reports being  mandatory and resumption at the office not .
Salary rangeN100,000 -N200,000 monthly Commission also available
